Product Marketing Manager, SaaS focus

LUMA Institute offers world-class design thinking training and resources to clients around the globe, including some of the world’s most innovative companies. We have ambitious plans for growth and are building a marketing team to help drive that acceleration, communicate product value and ensure customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a talented product marketer with SaaS experience to join our marketing team and be our leading advocate for LUMA products and services, focusing on our digital platform, LUMA Workplace. This position is based at LUMA headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pa., USA.

What will I do?
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients and how LUMA products and services help them.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, track competitors; use those insights to inform product development decisions and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with product experience and development teams to build world-class product features, functions and experiences.
  • Develop and manage messaging to drive demand, adoption and continuous engagement, focusing on LUMA’s subscription-based platform, LUMA Workplace.
  • Measure, track and analyze product sales, adoption and SaaS engagement to inform marketing strategies/tactics.
  • Advocate for strategic development of content, features and tools, based on quantitative data and trend analysis.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy, launch plan, and launch execution for new product/service functions and features.
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on product features and how they provide value to customers, including creation of strategic marketing content (e.g. sales documentation, product videos, website content, blog posts, and discussion forums).
  • Manage product marketing pages, optimize the customer conversion paths on those pages, create and test calls-to-action.
  • Assist sales team on calls when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
  • Speak and present, both internally and externally, in settings such as webinars and conferences/events.
What experience, skills and qualities would be ideal?
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4-5 years’ experience in digital marketing and/or product marketing, including 2 years demonstrated experience supporting SaaS offerings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in creating and producing digital content
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-team capacity internally and with enterprise clients to help drive internal adoption
  • Strong Google Analytics and SaaS platform analytics skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools preferred
  • Strong ability to work with numbers, make sense of metrics, use spreadsheets
  • Well-organized work style, able to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Good judgment, common sense, situational awareness, sense of humor
