Course and Curriculum Design
We develop educational programs on the general topic of design thinking, and the particular practices of Human-Centered Design. We offer instructional design services for everything from comprehensive learning systems to targeted units of study.
We collaborate with business leaders, employee educators, administrators and faculty within various organizations to integrate Human-Centered Design into their educational agenda. In some cases, we simply tailor our standard materials. On other occasions, we start from scratch. In every situation, we strive to meet specific learning objectives through accelerated, experiential learning.
Organizational Development
We help organizations develop educational and operational strategies to enlist the transformative power of design thinking. Our planning services help leaders chart a course for continuous improvement with Human-Centered Design as a core competency of everyone involved.
We envision a day when everyone comes to appreciate his or her role (in whole or in part) as that of a designer. In turn, we offer coaching services to help people integrate Human-Centered Design into daily practice. As with personal training in the field of health and wellness, our design fitness service strives for self-sufficiency.
Design Tools and Spaces
We help people get equipped with everything they need to practice Human-Centered Design on a regular basis. The workshops we offer provide a basic toolkit of design methods. We also offer customization services for tuning tools and templates to particular needs.
For people in need of a place to do Human-Centered Design, we offer our facility as a location to conduct usability studies, innovation sessions and the other relevant activities. If an individual or organization wants to make their existing environment more conducive to design thinking, we team with our partners at MAYA Design to offer a spectrum of mobile, modular solutions. Likewise, if a new space is needed, we facilitate teamwork with MAYA’s architectural experts. Ultimately, our services strive for a successful transfer of learning from workshops to workplaces.
